Selection Process: Your Path to Success

The selection process is designed to be fair and transparent, ensuring that the most deserving candidates are selected. It will consist of the following stages:

  1. Screening of Applications: Initial screening of online applications for eligibility.
  2. Written Examination (Computer-Based Test): All eligible candidates will be called for an online computer-based examination. The test will be bilingual (English & Hindi) and will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions.

      1. General Intelligence: 25 Questions
      1. General Awareness: 25 Questions
      1. Quantitative Aptitude: 25 Questions
      1. English Language: 25 Questions
      1. Total: 100 Questions
      1. Time Duration: 90 Minutes
  3. Physical / Skill / Proficiency Test (as applicable):
    1.  Fireman and Fire Engine Driver, a Physical Standard and Endurance Test will be conducted .
    1. Civilian Motor Driver, a driving skill test will be mandatory.
    1.  Bhandari, a swimming test must be qualified.

 MTS posts (Ward Sahayka, Dresser, Dhobi, Mali, Barber), a proficiency test relevant to the trade will be conducted.

  • Document Verification: Provisionally selected candidates will be called for document verification.
  • Medical Examination: Final appointment is subject to clearing the medical examination as per the standards specified by the Indian Navy.
